Camp Moremi

Camp Moremi is set on the edge of the beautiful Xakanaxa Lagoon, inside the Moremi Game Reserve, Okavango Delta. This region of the Okavango is famed as one of the best game-viewing region of Botswana. 

The camp is situated under huge, old ebony trees, and offers luxury tented accommodation, with the spacious tents spaced widely apart from one another, creating an atmosphere of privacy and exclusivity.

Accommodating just 22 guests in total, your accommodation is in purpose designed en suite luxury thatched tents, with extensive private raised decks. Each 'tent' is neatly furnished with all the facilities you would expect.  In addition to 11 luxury tents there is a family unit which has 2 bedrooms. 

The extensive main areas include a lounge, a wildlife reference library, a dining room and cocktail bar. There is an extensive fire pit set away from the main area, from which to enjoy the area, and which is best at night, for after-dinner drinks.  The swimming pool is on a raised deck, and allows for a place to relax and cool off.

Activities at Camp Moremi include game drives both morning and afternoon in open 4x4 safari vehicles inside the Moremi Game Reserve, and there are frequent sightings of predator species. You can also enjoy motorboat excursions which explore the Xakanaxa Lagoon and surrounding Okavango channels which offers both additional game viewing and some exceptional bird watching opportunities.

As the Moremi Game Reserve includes diverse habitats, sightings of Wild Dog, Cheetah and Leopard as well as Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Hippo, Giraffe, Hyena, Zebra, Kudu, Red Lechwe, Sable and Roan Antelope and many more are common-place.
