Oddballs Enclave

Oddballs’ Enclave Camp has been established close to the legendary Oddballs Camp, offering its guests a more intimate experience.  Situated in the true Delta on a beautiful island with formidable views, you will find five walks in tents, built on wooden platforms with en-suite facilities, fine linen, and creative touches.  The charm of the management and staff will amaze you.

Totally solar-powered, Oddballs Enclave has made no concessions to those who would insulate themselves from nature – whilst the tents are securely netted to deny mosquitoes and insects, the bathrooms are al fresco and feature a uniquely designed traditional African bucket shower – hot, plentiful and on-demand. Likewise the deck and dining areas are raised and open to unforgettable views.

The activities at The Enclave are identical to those at Oddballs’ itself – a maximum of two guests per guide, the freedom to do what you please and when, free of the demands and constraints of other guests, genuine, hand-made dug-out canoes (no fibreglass replicas here), unarmed walking on Chief’s Island and the Moremi Game Reserve, and the opportunity to visit your guide’s village – totally uncontrived and brimming with character.

Subject to water levels, an additional attraction at The Enclave is the mokoro trail into the distant parts of the delta. All equipment and provisions are provided, and along with your Guide, you will take a journey of discovery, sleeping under the stars in a tent, on an Okavango island.

The trail will take you along winding channels providing shelter to crocodiles, hippo and birds, into the Moremi Game Reserve, an area renowned for its spectacular bird and animal life.
