Oddballs' is situated in a private concession which directly overlooks Chief's Island in the Moremi Game Reserve, and is set in the central Okavango.
Guests are accommodated in Meru-style walk-in tents, set on elevated decks. They are now fully equipped with bed and bedding, storage trunk, and a light. The private deck has a small sitting area.
Each of the 15 tents is en suite (the Camp now has a family unit), and enjoy excellent views of the Boro River and the Delta. The bathroom is separate from the tent, and offers toilet, bucket shower and basin.
The central bar and lounge area is equipped with comfortable chairs and sofas, a selection of books and games, and is completed by raised viewing decks which allow for excellent views of the waterways, and surrounds, making this a great place to enjoy that sun downer drink.
Oddball's Camp now also boast a Chill Area for guests to relax in, complete with a number of comfortable hammocks.
Activities are conducted by your personal guide, as there is a ratio of 2 guests per guide... as all activities are either by mokoro, or on foot. You are taken by mokoro to nearby islands, where you enjoy game walks, and learn more about the surrounding environment. There is also the chance to visit the local village, which is home to many of the staff at Oddballs.
Subject to water levels, guests at Oddballs can also enjoy a mokoro trail into the Okavango. All of your equipment and provisions are packed into your mokoro, and you set off with your guide for a unique wilderness experience. Camping equipment is provided (tent, sleeping mat and pillow, cutlery, crockery, pots and pans, food) but you should bring your own sleeping bag. The trail takes you along the sinuous channels lined with reeds, into the Moremi Game Reserve, an area renowned for its diverse wildlife, and excellent birding.
The Camp now also offers a small Spa, where you can enjoy a massage or a signature foot treatment.
