Ghoha Hills Savuti Lodge

Ghoha Hills Savuti Lodge offers a unique and excellent situation, perched as it is on the ledges of the Ghoha Hills. Ideally situated 150 kilometres from Kasane and 230 kilometres from Maun, the lodge is excellent for both self-drive visitors and for those preferring a fly-in option.

Accommodation at Ghoha Hills Savuti Lodge is offered in 11 well appointed suites each of which is constructed on wooden decks, with canvas walls and tarpaulin roofs. The views are stunning. Of the 11 units, two are for families; accommodating two adults and two children, and all offer en-suite facilities and have breathtaking views across the African plains.

The camp’s main area includes an extensive thatched lounge and dining area, bar, rock pool and curio shop.  From both the units and the main area, guests overlook a busy water hole, where a plethora of game comes to drink.

Activities at Ghoha Hills Savuti Lodge include morning and afternoon game drives through the Park in open 4x4 safari vehicles, bush walks close to camp, birding, and stargazing.

The beauty of Savuti Ghoha is that the game drives are conducted on the camp’s exclusive road network.  You also get to visit the Savuti marsh and the Savuti Channel.  Here there is a chance to see predators, plains game, and excellent bird species.

Game likely to be spotted at Savuti Ghoha includes elephant, plains zebra, cape buffalo, lion, leopard, giraffe, spotted hyena, black-backed jackal and abundant bird life.

Savute has hot, wet summers and cool dry winters, with light rainfall experienced between November and April.
