Overland/ Mobile Safaris

​You travel in small groups, with other wildlife enthusiasts. Although most Overland Safaris are mainly based on camping, there are also some accommodated itineraries, where you travel from area to area/ Lodge to Lodge in the vehicle, but your overnights are spent in some excellent accommodation. Most of the camping safaris also include a night or so in accommodation (depending upon the itinerary).

Camping, though, has its many charms... and you certainly don't have to ''rough it'' at all. Most safaris offer en suite facilities (bush shower, basin, chemical or long-drop toilet), and you sleep on stretchers or camp beds. Enjoy a truly back to nature experience in private campsites, enjoying delicious meals prepared by your guide/ camp staff and cooked over an open fire - surely food never tasted better!

A camping, Overland Safari is also a more cost-effective way to travel in Botswana, and allows you a true wilderness experience.... often the holiday of a life-time.

We have selected some excellent itineraries for you (based on small group departures), but you can also enjoy a private safari, which is a great way to travel if you are a group of friends, or a small family group. Such private safaris are also flexible in terms of itineraries.
