Botswana's late rains have not disappointed, and the Makgadikgadi is once again transformed and teeming with new life. The water should remain for several weeks, which may delay the start of the quad bike excursions - usually commencing on 16 April.
However, there are heaps of babies to be seen - meerkats, zebras, wildebeest....
Kubu Quad Bike Expedition operates from 1 June to 30 September 2016, from Jack’s Camp, San Camp and Camp Kalahari (weather permitting), as you set off on your quad to The Lost Island of Baobabs. This spectacular journey in the heart of The Makgadikgadi Salt Pans is completely extraordinary.
There is also a new policy regarding the minimum number of Guests required in order to operate the Kubu Quad Bike Expedition. It will now operate with a minimum of 2 Guests at the nightly rate of the chosen camp plus an additional supplement for the 2 nights when we are fly camping at The Lost Island of Baobabs.
